Yes, Magna Craft Strips are applied to Inserts going into a perfect bound publications using a strip of tag paper stock applied with a fugitive hot melt. We can help you designing the size and position of the Strip. We can also help coordinate schedules and minimum standards with all the National Binderies and the Magazine Publishers. No worries, we have more equipment than anyone and have the capablity to Magna Craft millions on a tight schedule.
WHAT IS A BINDERY HANGER?
A Bindery Hanger is a carrier with a short flap, applied with fugitive adhesive, used to bind your Insert into a saddle stitched Publication. We can assist in the structural design of your hanger, so that the weight balances and the trim sizes are correct. We also help coordinate with all the National Binderies and Magazine Publishers. HOW DO I HANDLE PRODUCT SAMPLING PROGRAMS?
We affix product samples to any type of carrier including Magazine Inserts, Mail Promo pieces and Point of Sale Inserts. Our Tipping Capabilities include a wide range of Packets including Lotions, Soaps, Shampoos, Bubble Gum, Seeds, Test Strips and you name it, we can affix it. We can help you with all the details including coordinating with Packet Manufacturer for minimum burst requirements and Bindery design tests. Product Samples get your customers Market Attention. Magazine Advertisers are fighting to get attention and differentiate their ads from all the clutter in the Publication. There's no better way to get noticed in a Magazine, than to bind in Supplemental Booklets, Multi Page Inserts, and Posters into a Magazine using a Magna Craft Strip or Bindery Hanger.
Magna Craft Strips allows your customized Insert to be bound securely into a Magazine, yet it can easily be peeled out of the book, without tearing fiber or ripping the Insert. Magna Craft Strips are ribbons of tag stock applied with fugitive releasable adhesive. The most common size is a 1" strip, 1/2" on, 1/2" off, short of the head and foot.
